Roughly 15 years ago, MMC emerged to help women and children in need from the Haitian earthquake. However, due to lack of support, the founders of MMC Could not operate as they used to. Although they continued to provide help, larger groups of individuals could not fully be supported. 

After 15 years, instabilities In Haiti have only worsened. Parents and their children crowd the streets to escape violence. Kids are now displaced from their homes and separated from their families. The lack and quality of education is on the rise and basic necessities to live are scarce.
